Dave Olson and Studio 360 are an asset to Pewaukee.  Dave is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but he’s also an outstanding community member.  We were originally referred to Dave from a friend who had portraits taken.  In spite of the terrible weather, late season lack of colors, and working with a 4 year old and a dog, Dave was able to capture some incredible shots of my family around Pewaukee that we will have forever.  Additionally, his prices are reasonable, and his studio is a great example of revitalization of some of the old Pewaukee buildings.  You know Dave is an integral part of the community when people ask who took your portraits and after telling them, they respond with “Oh yeah, I know Dave.  He’s a great guy”.  We only wish we went to him sooner!

We have worked with Dave Olson at Studio 360 for a couple years now. Our experience as a family has been amazing. Our son Will is 4 and our daughter Kennedy is 2, you can only imagine how difficult it is to get them to sit still for any amount of time. Dave has the ability to snap that perfect moment and our kids really adore him. It is nice to work with Dave year after year because he is so very talented and our kids have gotten to know him. This makes the photo shoots become so easy instead of the dreaded nightmare of getting my kids all dressed up and no one smiles or one is crying. Our last photo session was in October to catch some nice fall shots and the only problem we had was that we couldn’t choose which images are best because their simply was so many unforgettable images to choose from.
Dave has also done some very creative sets in his studio. He does a great job with including some nice texture, back drops and fantastic lighting. Valentine’s Day sets included pink feathers, bowls of candy, pink hearts and so much more. He is so incredibly talented and he does continued education to give the best lighting and editing on every picture. In addition, he does video compilations that include the images from your photo shoot and to be I honest, it brought me to tears because it was so wonderful to see my family in that setting.
Dave Olson goes above and beyond any photographer we have ever worked with in the past. We wanted to get a photo shoot on the island on Pewaukee Lake and he even offered to take us in his boat. The weather can sometimes be a challenge if your session is scheduled and it rains or it is super windy but Dave is always in constant communication to check the weather to wait till later that day or reschedule to get the perfect shot we hoped for.
There is no other photographer in the area we would rather work with and I am happy to refer Studio 360 to all my family and friends.

A few months ago, Justin and I contacted Studio 360 with what we thought was a bit of an outlandish request.
We wanted a family photo shoot around the Village of Pewaukee...only there was one catch. Our family is made up of two (2) humans and Twain, our quirky chocolate Labrador puppy we lovingly consider our "fur child". We are not married, engaged or expecting, which made us initially apprehensive in our decision to hire a photographer. Hiring a photographer for family portraits with us and our dog was taking our dog parenting to the extreme! We knew it would take a very special photographer to capture our special family in a beautiful way. There was one more element to our request for the family photos that made our request outlandish. We wanted to include shots where we first met. On the corner of Main Street and Park Avenue right across from the studio.We could not have asked for a more enthusiastic response from Dave! We knew from the initial correspondence that we had made the right choice
to contact Studio 360. 

The day of the shoot Dave was amazing. He had a vision for the shoot and his energy was contagious! 

In addition to the traditional family photo poses, Dave captured candid moments and truly amazing shots that far exceeded our expectations! He had fun with our non-traditional family shoot and gave us a taste of what we could do for an engagement shoot someday, but he never forgot that we wanted to capture our special little family. 

We have recommended Studio 360 to all of our friends, family and even total strangers we have met along the way. Dave took onthe challenge of capturing our family and truly knocked our socks off with his creativity and skill as a photographer.

I just wanted to let you know that without exception, everyone that has seen Matt's golf picture has said that the ghost image is the best part.
