What a day.
Fall in Wisconsin is so unpredictable, even with all the technology the weather forecasters don't get it right a lot of the time. Just a week earlier Travis & Kelsey were competing at a race in Lacrosse and there was rain, wind and even snow flurries. All the planning, all the details, all the work that goes into a wedding are subject to what the weather holds for the day...what a perfect day it turned out to be. The outdoor ceremony was held in a beautiful church-side garden. The Dassow's and Bauer's along with their family and friends gathered to witness a picture perfect ceremony.
The Wedding party took a bus from the church and made several stops along the way through the hills, fall foliage and sunshine of Dodge county eventually arriving at the Golf Club at Camelot. Creating a few more images before entering the reception Travis & Kelsey entered the hall filled to the limit with well wishers. What followed was a night filled with stories, toasts, laughs, love, and an epic grand march.
With all the talented photographers and options a couple has to choose from, we are always excited when we are chosen. Photographing Weddings is a huge responsibility and we put our heart and soul into each and every one. This one was unique because we knew Travis & Kelsey even before they met each other. Travis raced go-carts with my boys years ago and I have photographed each of their racing careers pretty much from the start. Watching these two grow up, progress in their racing careers, meet each other and ultimately exchange vows made photographing this wedding extra special.
Take a look at their day as we saw it.

Donna Bauer - Dave and Lisa, what a wonderful day we had and you were such an important part of the wedding! I love the pictures already and can't wait to see all of the pictures as they will continue to remind us of the love and the fun we had that beautiful day! Thank you for all that you did to help make their wedding perfect!
